Advertisements The Rich Man’s Daughter is the first Philippine TV Series that will portray LGBTQ. It will be broadcast by GMA Network starring Rhian Ramos as Jade Dionisio Tanchingco and Glaiza de Castro as Althea Guevarra and Luis Alandy as David Sy. Together with some box office hit actors/actresses namely Gloria Romero, Katrina Halili, Mike Tan, Chynna Ortaleza , Sheena Halili, Pauleen Luna, Paolo Contis, TJ Trinidad, Charee Pineda, Stephanie Sol, Al Tantay, Glydel Mercado and Tony Mabesa. It was said the Marian Rivera withdrew the said role Jade Tanchingco because of her pregnancy. This will be the second show of GMA that will portray homosexuality the first was My Husband’s Lover.

This will be the story of two female who dress like a girl but with a heart of a man. Jade Tanchingco played by Rhian Ramos will be confused as she sees Althea Guevarra played by Glaiza de Castro. Jade comes from a rich Filipino-Chinese family with many traditions. And fall in love with Althea who is the wedding coordinator of Jade’s Brother Gab played by Tj Trinidad. How will this two fight for their love or fight for the truth of their being. Will love prevail at the end of the series?

The Director said that it is not only about LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Queries) it is also about family, friendship, truth, traditions and not basically about LGBT Community. It’s an eye opener for the viewers that LGBT are also human being that needs to be respected like other people with definite gender.
