The
long wait is over for LizQuen fans! After their successful Teleserye
Forevermore, Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano will once again hit the Big Screen
with their newest Star Cinema Movie entitled “Just The Way You Are” and
starring as the Lead Role. Directed
by Theodore Boborol, opens in theaters on June 17. Including Sunshine Cruz and
Tonton Gutierrez.
With its trailer, Enrique Gil who portrays Drake
a playboy who was challenge to make Sophia portrayed by Liza Soberano fall in
love with him in thirty days. And Drake really tried his hardest to let Sophia
fall for him. Not knowing that his really falling in love with the nerdy girl
Sophia. But will Sophia fall for him? What do you think?
The original title was “the Bet” and they come up
with “Just The Way You Are” for its more appealing to the audience. And Direk
Theodore wants to show it that it’s way different from the hit Teleserye
Forevermore who garnered a lot of audiences.
“What I made clear from the very start was that the movie differs a lot from the teleserye which earned a national following. Then I set out to build strong characters by way of several acting workshops for the cast. I told them that they are actually free to get inputs from their real-life encounters to make the characters look real. I like to think we succeeded in making a good story about friendship and the redeeming values of a good family life.” - Direk Theodore
Liza
Soberana as 17 years old is not allowed in kissing scenes so Direk Theodore
really tried his hardest to portray compellingly the character of Sophia. And
Enrique Gil said that his character as Drake and Alexander is somehow the same
but will try his hardest to portray it distinctly.
Will
this newest Star Cinema movie a block buster hit again? Let see how this two
give justice to their first Lead Role. I can’t wait for this movie as this two
had a successful TV Series with Forevermore.
